This has been the worst makeup remover I have ever used. The single fact that it is supposed to be “gentle to the skin” just disappointed me.
This new technology of Micellar Water was supposed to “remove all impurities without over-drying the skin,” and it did all but that. I have a deep cool undertone and my face became white as a ghost, very dry, flaky and rough. After I had spent so much time and money into a good quality product, it felt awful to have my skin ruined by this makeup remover.
I learned my lesson. If this ever happens to you, please;
- Don’t be fooled by the promising titles and take a few moments to read reviews online.
- Carry your makeup remover. Ever since, I made a little bag with my essentials to carry everywhere.
- Spend a little extra, even if you think it will only be used once. You will end up using that product sometime later.
- Find a different alternative – like baby oil. Yes baby oil! IT WORKS!

I am so sorry you had this experience with this product. Thank goodness I read your review on this. I am so tempted t buy this product because of the price and all the rave that it is getting. I am currently using the Dr. Hauschka Cleansing Milk which is quite pricey. I am always on the look out for cheaper products but in the end I realize spending money on expensive products can be worth it knowing that you get what you paid for.
