Day Trip to Cape May, NJ
My best friend Mayela and I have been wanting to hit the shore all summer long, feel the sun and the salty refreshing ocean water. With COVID, extensive work hours, and bad weather on her days off, the trip never came about.
We thought of doing a spontaneous day trip to the beautiful beach of Cape May, NJ. Our friend Clarisa also joined us and we all hit the shore on Wednesday! YAY
What to do on a Day Trip to Cape May?
With so many things to see, do, and eat, how do you get the most out of a day trip? Well this what we did, and we had a blast.
Food
Upon arrival to Cape May, we had lunch a Harry’s Ocean Bar & Grille. We seat upstairs in the roof deck to have some of the ocean views and fresh air breeze.
The menu had many items to choose from that can accommodate most dietary restrictions. Like vegetarian options or gluten-free.

Beach Cabanas
The Montreal Beach Resort cabanas are perfectly located, far enough from everyone with their umbrellas and close enough to the water. The cabanas have curtains that are very easy to handle and give you a great sense of privacy. You feel so comfortable that you might end up taking a nap.
After the Beach
After expending the afternoon on the beach, playing with the water, taking pictures, and sharing. We packed up, put the bags in the car, and walked around the Cape May Town. On our way, we saw beautiful houses that are business and home. When we got to the town, there were a lot of people, mainly families walking and enjoying the late afternoon like us.
