Pelican Grand Beach Resort – A 24-Hour Paradise
A few weeks ago, my mom and I stayed at Pelican Grand Beach Resort for a one-night stay. It turned out to be a 24-Hour Paradise.
Located at 2000 N Ocean BLVD, Pelican Grand Beach Resort is a beach-front boutique hotel in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The hotel has a Boho Caribbean vibe that transports you to a different world.
When my mom and I arrived at the Pelican Grand Beach Resort, we were a bit stressed as we had arrived late to our spa appointment due to rush hour traffic on the expressway. We were greeted by Harper, a valet parking member, and Sol who helped us with our bags. They both were very sweet and welcoming, which gave us the calmness we needed to start our trip.
The front desk pointed me in the spa direction, where I was able to change the appointment for the next day.
The check-in was very smooth. They gave us a waiver with information about the mask requirements and safety procedures. We received a free drink voucher, which was super nice.
After experiencing such calmness and kindness, we knew we were off to a lovely stay at Pelican Grand Beach Resort.
Once we entered our suite, we were completely amazed. The room was huge, very boho-chic. The ocean views were breathtaking and unbelievable. The best part was that we could hear the waves crashing. All of this was while we were sitting on our private balcony. This was such a joy!
We got ready and headed downstairs to Ocean 2000 for dinner. Again, amazing views of the beach and the live music set up the vacay mood.
Our waitress was sweet and attentive. We ordered our drinks, a Lychee martini and a berry mojito which were the perfect refreshers. We are on the beach, so why not partake in a mini seafood feast? Right?!
For our appetizer, we had the crab-cake, which was so flavorful and had a great texture. For the main course, my mom had the salmon and I ate the Lobster. My mom’s salmon was so juice, crispy, and soft, while my lobster was succulent and tender. Currently, I am craving it as I write about it.
The portions were big and fulfilling. Unfortunately, we didn’t save room for dessert, but I bet dessert is as delish as everything else!
After dinner, we sat at the veranda’s rocking chairs and enjoyed the night breeze with great live music.
The next morning, I woke up early and got a chance to watch the magnificent sunrise from our private balcony. It was so beautiful and memorable.
I went for my morning walk, to enjoy my old neighborhood of Lauderdale-By-The-Sea. Once I came back, my mom was still sleeping. So I decided to skip breakfast and prepare for checkout. Time flies!
We had lunch at Ocean 2000. The day was beautiful and sitting outside at the veranda was a must.
Our drinks were refreshing. For the entree, the sirloin steak wrap was a must-try, so flavorful and juicy.
Our 24 hours are almost up, but one of the best parts of this resort is approaching! The Massage at Pure Spa!
The Pure Spa at Pelican Grand is located on the last floor – 14th floor. The name Pure Spa says it all, as they only use products made with natural ingredients.
I knew I was in for a treat – a massage is always a good idea. Now when you actually arrive at Pure Spa, you are in real awe. The front ocean views are OMG, and the service is beyond anything I have experienced. Gina and Marielina treated us so well. Very well executed massages with the right amount of pressure. We felt so relaxed.
Our overall experience at the Pelican Grand Beach Resort was indeed a 24-Hour Paradise! We can’t wait to visit again.
