After surprising my mom on Mother’s Day by visiting her unannounced, we celebrated the next day by going to Ruth’s Chris Steak House. It turned out to be an unforgettable experience!

We visited their Boca Raton location at 225 NE Mizner Blvd Suite 100, Boca Raton, FL 33432. This area, known as Mizner Park, is a well known spot for South Floridians.
Upon arrival, we were kindly greeted by Sharon. She was more than happy to sit us at the table we requested. Sharon made sure that we were siting comfortably before handing us the menus in a very classy manner.
Our server, Richard came and introduced himself. He offered us some water. Once he came back, we chose our drinks.
My mom ordered a Virgin Mojito, and I got their Raspberry Rosmary Cosmopolitan. The drinks were beautiful and well made.
They brought some bread and butter for the table.
Richard shared some information with us about the menu and items of the day.
We ordered from the Seasonal Classic Menu, which offers you a three course meal starting at $47.95.
The Ruth’s Chris classic menu is composed of an appetizer, entree, and dessert.
Appetizer
From the classic menu, you get to choose from a variety of soups and salads.
We chose different salads and everything on the plate was beautifully presented and very fresh.
Entree
There were a variety of entrees to choose from, from Crabcakes, different steak cuts and sizes, to Steak and Lobster. You also get to choose a side.
My mom chose an 11oz filet with the creamy spinach as her side. My choice included the Steak and Lobster, which was a 6 oz filet and a cold water lobster. For my side, I chose the Steak House Baked Potatoes.
The meats are cooked at an 1800 degree Fahrenheit and served on a 500 degree plate.
The steak was definitely sizzling. It was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The lobster was tender and very fresh. I enjoyed the balance with the Steak House Baked Potatoes. They were crispy on the outside and softer in the inside that accompanied with a very tasty, creamy sauce.
Dessert
Make sure to save some room for dessert!
The Classic menu includes a dessert, which is a strawberry shortcake. You can make a substitution for an extra $4 for any of their dessert items.
My mom substituted her strawberry shortcake for a cheese cake. And girl was she glad.
The cheesecake was utterly delicious: vaguely sweet, creamy with the right consistency, and had a perfect crust.
The very sweet manager stopped by our table and introduced himself. He made sure that we had a great time and enjoyed ourselves.
The food, staff, and ambience makes Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse a definite place to visit.
