Spring has sprung and we can’t wait to get out in our city, enjoy fresh air, see lovely blossomed flowers, and have some small bites with great company!
But being in the city, it’s sometimes hard to find nature and feel a bit away from the hustle and bustle. Plus after such a winter, I am sure you are ready to enjoy the sunshine in a beautiful place while having a bite to eat.
We dressed semi-warm and comfy with our L.LBean Linen Shirts and sneakers.
So here is in my opinion The Most Beautiful Spot for a Picnic in Philadelphia!
I recently went on a last minute picnic with my closest friends Edyineth and Mayela.
They both have been telling me for the longest of time about Fairmout being the perfect spot for a small picnic.
Few days ago we decided to go there and it turned out to be just the most beautiful spot for a Picnic in Philadelphia!
Seating by the water under a beautiful blossom three was so magical.
What was so magical about it, was the fact that the weather was warm and breezy, the trees where blossomed full of flowers, and the birds were chirping. The views were splendid, we had the Girad Ave Bridge with the famous Schuylkill River running underneath.
The location was so lovely. We seat about one mile away from the Philadelphia Museum and the Philadelphia Water Works. The exact location is Kelly Drive Boudering Wall (right after the Girad Ave bridge)
That afternoon, there wasn’t a lot of people and while this place is right of a busy street, Kelly Dr, it didn’t feel too noisy.
Overall we had the greatest of time and truly recommend this location for the perfect picnic in Philadelphia.
